Juneau Teens Making a Difference!

The Juneau Empire showcased the mural created by Juneau youth this past year on Monday, April 23rd. A group of 10 – 15 teenagers, several of which attended Lead On 2011,  created a community mural highlighting what the community was doing in support of respect. Along with local shelter AWARE, the youth helped facilitate workshops exploring the basics of respect and what people  are doing when it comes to promoting respect. In addition, local artist Sarah Conarro helped make the artwork look like one cohesive piece, which now can be found displayed outside of KTOO radio. Please read the Juneau Empire article for more information!

Great Job Juneau!!!!!
