This June, 18 teens from Juneau, Sitka, Gustavus, Hoonah, Dillingham, Angoon, Scammon Bay and three international exchange student from Egypt, Thailand, and Norway spent a week kayaking in Glacier Bay. During their 10 day adventure through Glacier Bay, teens from around Alaska and the world had the opportunity to learn about Southeast Traditional Tribal Values from cultural knowledge bearers, build strong outdoor leadership skills, develop healthy relationships tools and gain inspiration and resources to promote wellness in their home communities.
